Our Mission
Our purpose is to promote the advancement of well-behaved dogs and responsible dog ownership.  We provide positive, reward-based motivational training. Catawba Valley Obedience Club (CVOC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1981.  All our instructors are volunteers.

Community Outreach
CVOC has community outreach programs. We sponsor public seminars and presentations.

Graduates of our therapy dog prep class & being certified by Therapy Dogs International visit area colleges, schools hospitals, libraries and nursing homes.

 

 

Classes
CVOC offers dog obedience training classes, Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International evaluations and testing to the public throughout the year.

Neill W. Clark Recreation Center sign - Hickory, NC Come Join Us!
CVOC meets every Thursday night at the Neill W. Clark, Jr. Recreation Park in Hickory. It is located on 3404 6th Street Drive NW.
